This Budgerigar is carefully handcrafted and hand painted without the use of machines. The bird is made using , regular epoxy , paper and acrylic paints with a generous coating of transparent adhesive . The body of the bird is sculpted out of regular epoxy and the tail feathers, wing feathers and body feathers are made using ivory sheet. Each feather on the body of the bird is painstakingly cut to precision and glued onto the body. The entire process took about three weeks to complete.

They are best placed suspended from a ceiling or inside a glass cabinet or dome. Although protective coatings are applied to the bird avoid contact with water .
