Carefully handcrafted paper and epoxy sculpture of a Ruby throated Hummingbird sucking nectar from a Cone flower. The bird’s body and centre of the cone flower is made out of regular epoxy. All the wing , tail and body feathers and the petals of the flower are made using paper. Each paper feather is painstakingly cut to precision and carefully glued to the birds body. The biggest challenge was to to get the bird in flight , suspending freely in mid air. The beak of the bird has a stable wire structure that holds it in place. The sculpture is fixed onto a wooden base , enclosed in a glass dome.

After multiple hours of work this piece was produced. It makes for a beautiful home decor piece and will attract the attention of all nature lovers.
